Our room was very clean. Had all the amenities that we needed. I loved how it had bunk beds for our teenager. It was very close to the ocean and we will definitely be returning hopefully soon!

We loved the location and the condition of our unit. The employees were extremely helpful when we had questions or needs. The only things that we lacked were small juice glasses in the kitchen, hooks for hats and bath robes etc. Also a hand towel rack in the bathroom would have nice.

This was our first visit to OBX, I couldn't wish for a better place. The suite is very comfortable, plenty of room, full kitchen well-stocked. The balcony faces the ocean. Easy check-in and check-out.

If you like to fish you might be happy here. We were on vacation and were looking for beachfront to enjoy the sun and surf. The entire beach was lined with fisherman. So, if you like to fish.....

The living room, kitchen, bathroom, bunkbed alcove, and bedroom were comfortable and convenient. We could watch the sunrise from our oceanfront deck and the sunset from the deck at the opposite end of the suite. We would love to come back!

The most relaxing vacation ever

We stay at the Lighthouse View Inn every year. The price is reasonable and the accommodations are always pleasant. I love having a kitchen. The beds are comfortable. I love the view and walking out the door to hear the ocean. It also feels very safe and family friendly.

We stayed in a ocean front king suite with bunk beds. We loved it ! The place was roomy and comfortable. We had a front and back deck and one had the ocean as it’s view. We were right on the ocean. Very clean and liked how everything was done by text but if needed to they did have an office you could go to. Great location.

This was the perfect size for our family of four. We loved being right on the ocean where we could watch the sunrise from our balcony. In the evening we could sit on the back balcony area and see the sunset. What a reasonably priced accommodation for such a fabulous oceanfront location.

Room was very nice and neat. Loved it there. Was a little surprised we had to put on our own sheets though! Would definitely return.

Always love staying at Lighthouse view but I wish they spent more time cleaning the place better before arrival. The place smelled like wet dog and the AC was set at 76 upon arrival. Possibly a unit which allows pets and the bathroom really smelled of urine. Had to do a bunch of cleaning and burning candles to make it feel like home before I could truly relax. Otherwise, I absolutely loved my stay!

We have stayed here often throughout our marriage and we just love being able to see the magnificent ocean from the couch!
We were there for our 10th anniversary! The weather was perfect and the beaches just spectacular!

the rental unit 318 was nicer, cleaner, and more accomodating than i ever imagined, our stay at the lighthouse view was great. First time ever to BUXTON, God willing it won't be our last, we are already trying to decide for sure what week for next year....

This was not my first trip to the Outer Banks and it definitely won't be my last! It is so beautiful. We had an absolutely wonderful time. I have zero complaints!!

We had a wonderful usual everything was perfect! Inez helped us to come a day earlier and get our same unit which made a big difference. On top of everything we came home with a mess of fish!!

Clean, friendly, I LOVE the place.

The Suite was very clean and neat. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking pans. Just was a little off about having to take out your trash at the end of our stay. We will be going back.

My wife and I always come down in June so we decided to try October it was great so now we will be coming back in October also every year the room was great the staff was very friendly and helpful

stayed five nights for a vacation with husband and stepson. We loved the suite. Linen exchange easy. The property is right on the beach. I saw a deer one morning on the sand is close to everything including light houses, ferry (12 miles) and shops,pier, and Dollar General. I would stay here again. Looking forward to going back next year with the grandchildren.

The room was clean and cool upon entering. It was not ready until 4pm. With two children and a long drive that was disappointing.

I like the keyless entry. However, it was only for the front door and not the ocean side. Carrying up ocean toys, chairs and umbrellas made it difficult. This was because I had to carry all of the gear up two flights and put it on the deck and go back down, walk to the front and then go up two flights again to enter the room. A rear keyless entry would make it more convenient.

The bunks were great for our children. We brought fitted sheets with us so I would not have to climb up on the bunks to make hospital corners.

I like the code for the pool. It seemed less crowded. The code was complicated and could had been a bit simpler.

Overall our stay was great. We overlooked the above and made it a great vacation.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon in 2014, and have returned each summer since. Short walk to the beach, clean rooms, very useful kitchen, and comfortable living area. The internet access has greatly improved in the last couple of years. Restaurants within easy walking distance -- Fatty's, across the street, has terrific shrimp and grits, Diamond Shoals has fresh seafood dinners, and Angelo's serves pizza, calzone and burgers. I definitely recommend this establishment.

This was our second stay at Lighthouse View. We would probably be back every year if it weren't a 4 day drive to get there. Excellent location, wonderful accommodations, and the management was very helpful in setting up our second stay. We had to leave early last fall because of a hurricane, and they helped to set us up with this unit, to make up the days we had missed, in May....perfect time of the year for the area.

This hotel has a perfect location. But it is old and dreary. The unit was clean but there were no paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap or tissues. There was a coffee maker but no pot in it. There were only 2 forks in the drawer. We were only there for 2 nights so didn’t say anything about these items. If we had been staying longer, I would have talked to the manager.

We stayed in a King suite with bunks. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. The baby was allowed to sleep in the pack and play, we checked before booking because the occupancy limit was 4. The unit was very clean and had plenty of space. The neighbors below us complained the first night because they could here us walking around but we talked to them that day and apologized explaining the toddler was running through the house after 9 hours in the car. I would recommend a top unit if youre a light sleeper or are bothered by noise. Our neighbors turned out to be pretty awesome and we hung out with them daily and let them know to knock on the door if noise was bothering them because we didnt want to ruin anyones vacation! The beach is conveniently located off the steps. We watched the sunrise from the deck. The pool and hot tub were very clean with plenty of loungers to sit and watch the kids. We walked to nearby restaurants and ice cream shops. The staff was incredibly friendly. We cant wait to go back!

My fiance and little girl stayed 2 nights here(May 4th-6th. I found this place online and called immediately. They got us in a suite and we arrived late that night. I could not believe how clean and beautiful this place is. For me cleanliness is a MUST. It was a beautiful view and I can assure you, my family and I will be returning soon!!

We had a wonderful time and the room was exactly what we needed!We were beach side and had a wonderful view.The only complaint I had was that the 800 number provided went to a message line and it was difficult to find the direct call number for the motel. But the staff was extremely helpful and very patient.
